  1. Its Scary right now in boat sales. Many of my buddies are looking at the pre-owned market,, those that are for sale by owner,, some real bargains can be had..Sad but true..

  4. Good oil is a great investment in your engine. Dont skimp on oil. Find other places to save money. make sure you use oil that meets Merc standards , but , more important ,,meets your standards for temp in your area, and heat of your engine. Synthetics are a safe bet.
  5. relaxing at a family Reunion, Food, Family and a bonfire at night..! oops... some Drink as well. Stay off the water,, too many law enforcement officers on the water, trying to make the world safe for one day.
  6. How did the SEA TRIAL go on that Mako..??? Did it meet your expectations ???? If you buy anything without a seatrial your making an error.
  7. Flex Set is a good product. As stated above do not use 5200.. if repairs or re-wiring need to be done,, you will need dynamite to get the 5200 off.

You can also go furhter south on the ICW, to the Lantana Brigde Area, and they have a great fireworks display,, plenty of boats also,,, but not as many as West Palm,, You can get an over night slip at The Moorings, or Anchor in the ICW near Gundlachs and face south..Pretty good show,, plenty of Water Cops of all brands out that day ,,so beware..

  17. Marine Tex is fine,, just take a good look at it after a day out in the water,, see if it really adhered to the fiberglass roving that was exposed, should be fine,, how did the color match ?

My guess is that the seatrail is the best way to determine your preference.. resale of the grady will be higher,, if that matters at this point.. i vote for the Grady White. have not sailed on the larger sail fish(21 - 23 only ) , but i have been on the 25 - 28 gradys , heavy and seaworthy when powered correctly. Very smooth ride.
