  1. 50/50 clorox and water in a pump sprayer will kill it, but it will also eat up anything not plastic or stainless. That goes for ropes, mops, iron, and non-stainless steel. Be careful with electrical connections. Aluminum tolerates it pretty well, but I would flush really well with fresh water after giving it a few minutes to do its job.

Thats what i do, and requires no brushing but like Dano says LOTS OF WATER !!!

  2. I'm with The Admiral on this one. :605_thumbs_up:

I'd have freaked also. That's the kind of job that I don't want to see in progress on any of my boats; just call me when it's over, show me the end result (hopefully good) and send me the bill.

What's next on the demolition schedule? :471_confused_face:

same here to much for me, call me when its OVER....

Had a couple of air pockets come out, took it to a shop to get the work done, the guy started on it right away so he got his grinder and went to town.. Needless to say i freaked out when i saw how he was grinding the hull, was a little nervous the rest of the day , ok a lot.. Anyways the guy did a fantastic job cant even tell...

  3. Guys I need info on this.. (chris I know that you will chime in)

I googled "local boater option" and the only government link I got is from Puerto Rico.

How do I get it and where????

Just go to your local port US customs office, each person has to show up in person with a passport and they will issue you a number. I have seen reports that say you will be issued a card but Port Canaveral just gave me a number. I can't remember if they want your boat registration also, so maybe just take it with you. Some links say you need an appointment. I would call to be sure.

Yes, they do issue cards, and take boat info as well......
