Former coach Dan Reeves, DeCamillis' father-in-law, said the first-year Dallas coach has a couple of broken vertebrae in his lower back. "They say he's lucky not to be paralyzed," said Reeves, adding that DeCamillis probably will have surgery. The coach was seen being removed on a stretcher wearing a neck brace. The storm hit while 27 players were going through workouts. Officials say there were about 70 people in the facility. Of the 12 hospitalized, 10 were taken by emergency vehicles and two went on their own.

Well it was a downright awesome day in Jax. Mid to high 80s with no humidity. Same on tap for tomorrow with a forecast for 91 degrees and winds 10-15. I hope Gus brought lots of sunscreen! I suspect there was a sea trial though maybe the conditions weren't as challenging as they could have been!

Well that didn't take long.

Simply the small recovery over where we started in January. Plus a very balanced portfolio - with minimal company equities in there. Right now I am at 24% Diversified Equity, 15% International Equity, 27% US Small Cap, 25% Russell 3000 Index, and 9% company stock. But I'm still well down on Jan 2008!

Did he remove the coast guard required equipment as well - flares, fire extinguishers, PFDs, etc.? Make sure to have at least enough Type 1s for everyone on board. You need to make sure you have that equipment on board and in date (especially flares). Do a radio check on the VHF. How far off-shore will you be running? What do you have in the way of inflatable or life raft? Charts? I would also invest the few bucks it costs to get a set of wooden plugs and a rubber mallet. Given the boat is new to you, you never know what hose is going to give etc. Also check that you can reach all of the through hulls and that they can be closed (not seized etc.)

I'd love the hear from the 12 volt experts on here (if any) about the heat generated (if any) inside a switch and if the box is at risk of melting. But, yes, very innovative. In fact, maybe innovative enough that you should delete this thread and think about a patent!
