Rejex is excellent on a clean surface. My YF21 and vehicles get Rejex - easy on and off.
-
I was amazed at the result and I have tried lots of different things over the years.

I use Wave Away on all of my stuff - Raymarine, Garmin and Lowrance displays.
It is excellent on those nasty waterspots, too. http://waveaway.com/

WaveAway works great. http://waveaway.com/

Yes, it was posted by a few LA guides at the SaltyCajun link, that has since been moved to its premium 'Gill Net' section. BTW, THT, FS and 2coolfishing have similar threads. The posts says 3 fisherman at 2 cool, - who knows. Limit is 3 in TX and MS - No limit in LA though.

1) black soled shoes on non-skid
2) guys that tie up in the ramp to load the boat from tow vehicle.
3) boaters and jet skiers that run between you and the bank on long drifts down a shoreline.

MJs are great eyewear. I have 2 pair - One for golf - very light and one for fishing - with a frame that wraps around a bit and handles high speed runs. I liked my Ocean Waves, too - but they went swimming... Yes, the MJs are pricey, but well worth the $$s - ditto most good equipment, rods, reels, etc. Good luck.

Merc Sport jet. Great power and efficient thrust ratios. Btw, Simmons Custom Boats is rumored to be toying with this in their rigs. www.simmonscutomboats.net Not sure about status though.

Porta makes a great JP, that can handle high HPs.

Regular car wax will also help the water bead and roll off the windsheild while under way.

1) Meguiars PlastX - http://meguiarsdirect.com/zoom.asp?edpZ=84711

This stuff is a multipurpose attack on Bacteria, Algae and Fungus. Kills the microbes that are the causes. Follow directions, great for getting the fish smell out of ice chests and bait wells, too.

I have used Rejex for several years on a 22 ft bay boat and various vehicles. IMO on a 27 ft cat, interior and out - at least 1/4 of a bottle - lots of square footage to cover.
It is very slick to the touch when buffed out. Take a section - say 2 ft x 2ft and apply some yourself, just as you would a liquid wax - drink a beer and then buff it off. Easy on and off. It should be very slick to your touch. That said, a 2nd coat is good as Libra said. My guess is your guy was in a bit of a hurry. Before the first Rejex application always have the boat cleaned with Dawn soapy water to remove old wax. Good luck. You will like the result.

Lucky Lucky Peirre, maise I sure did!!
Me too. Caught a bunch of fish with Lucky Lucky Pierre over the years :-)

Don't use automotive polishes on plastic. The solvents in some of the compounds will attack the plastic and give it that fine hair line crack look.
You can sand the plastic but you should use a ultra fine paper. 220 is WAY to coarse. 600 is the lowest grit I would use. I like 800-1000 grit.
This is some good stuff. I have used it on plenty of boat windshields and head lights/tail lights on autos. Remember to use some type of wax thats made for plastic after you polish it. The wax will help protect it. (I spent 28 years in the bodyshops)....................
Ditto on the Meguiar's PlastX shown in his post. Excellent for the plexiglass winshield. Then protect with Rejex, or Meguiar's NXT.
