  1. This link is cool http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shiplocations.phtml I hope everyone has a fishy weekend, Looks like rain here.
  2. I thought it was a fuel issue to begin with. BUT, After the second tow back to the landing I started thinking Power pack. Looks like thats the way I will go. New fuel system (this year) and rebuilt carbs (last year). stabil always Thanks
  3. I have the same issue and thought about the same hardware. However, I can't see how I can keep my anchor in the locker and the rode will still come from the hardware on the bow to the anchor locker. Either way I have rode out of the anchor locker. thus, the hatch will not close. The only thing I could come up with is mount the anchor on the bow and the rode will store in the locker Rusty
  4. As always with this group, Great advice and pretty much covers all possibilitys. Looks like I have some troubleshooting to do. Appears like this is going to take at least a 12 pack to get it figured out. . I've still have my dependable john boat so, I'm not land locked with the water temps. moving up to the fishing point. Thanks alot everyone. Reel Boating Rocks, Rusty 24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day ???
  5. Sorry about the extra posts guys I'm trying to figure out this reply to post thing. Rusty
  6. Striper- it will shut down after I back off. cold starts perfect at idle. I crank it once a week, let it idle for about 20 min. cut it off and it will crank right up (this is @ idle in the yard). However, 200 to 300 yards, back off and cut off.
  7. Thanks Wiley for E-mailing me your new site!! Great group of boaters here and alot of very good experience and advice. I have a 2000 150 hp johnson carbed 2 stroke on a 2000 20ft cc Maycraft. Problem- I can plan off and run for about 200 to 300 yards at about 3500 RPM and back down to idle the motor will cut off and will not start back up. It will turn over but will not fire up. It will hit a few times but thats it--NO GO! I have had the fuel system replaced and new seperator installed along with a new optical sensor. Carbs rebuilt last year. Stabil is always used. took it out for a test ride--same thing. 200 to 300 yards and shut off and NO GO! Thinking it could be defective power pack. Perhaps as it warms up and resistence increases the spark decreases???? What do you think??? Much appreciated Rusty
  8. The store in Wilmington has a going out of bussiness sale sign on the front of the store on College Rd. Was convenient for me. Closest store is West Marine at Wrighsville Beach. I guess I'll go over to check out the sales. Time to reload.
