  1. I would love to have their numbers :239_fishing:

No!!!, These guides work hard for those numbers. They do more for the preservation of the fisheries than most. Its how they feed their families. As stated by Capt Rick " ALL of the fish will be gone". :(

    Hell, I can't find them now :504_shrugging:

While casting the net for bait. If I load up the net and if there is a passing guide I will ask him if he needs any bait.

It's the right thing to do. :605_thumbs_up:

  2. NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- New developments in the investigation into dozens of pelicans that have washed up on North Topsail Beach.

Possumwood Acres Sanctuary volunteers say in the past week the number of birds found has drastically decreased. The volunteers have found several birds suffering from frost bite, which is a natural occurrence during winter.

As for injured pelicans, only one so far this year is causing a major concern.

Possumwood Acres says it is still waiting on the complete review from the University of Georgia, which is examining the numerous pelicans that washed up dead. Volunteers say so far fewer than ten percent of the birds have been examined.

    Global warning :1925_:

  3. Fuel tanks SHOULD have 2 access pies, one over the fill and vent hose necks, fwd, the other over the sending unit and pickup(s) aft. If your's doesn't, then it is time to get to work providing you access to these VERY important areas of your tank, which, btw, need yearly inspection...

That's what I thought. I have an access port over my fuel pick up on the deck aft. The sending unit is not located there. The only other access port is just below the gunnel at the fuel fill hose. I looked under the seats and in the console. I'll get some pics. :504_shrugging:

    Thanks for the feed back

  4. Both good reels. Try going to reddrumtackle.com. These guys are in buxton, NC. (The point at Cape Hatteras). They modify reels for max. distance and preformance. for example, bait casters like penn 525 mag. these guys can hook you up in your price range.

Check them out. A lot of good info on the site also.

Perhape someone can chime in with sone more info.

  5. Leaving Minnesota for Colorado, I decide to make a stop at one of those rest areas on the side of the road. I go in the washroom. The first stall was taken so I went in the second stall. I just sat down when I hear a voice from the next stall...

    - "Hi there, how is it going?"

Okay, I am not the type to strike conversations with strangers in washrooms on the side of the road. I didn't know what to say so finally I say:

    - "Not bad..."

    Then the voice says:

    - "So, what are you doing?"

I am starting to find that a bit weird, but I say:

    - "Well, I'm going back to Colorado..."

Then I hear the person say all flustered:

    - "Look I'll call you back, every time I ask you a question this idiot in the next stall keeps answering me."

    No! It's not me

  6. The sheriff has apologized but is unsure if any laws were broken, NBC reported. A call to the sheriff's office today was referred to the county attorney, who was unavailable to comment.

Forget the question of whether laws were broken...if this man's superior has any balls at all, the man who made the video should be fired forthwith.

    X2

    That's cold......No compassion :1925_:
