I'm glad to see everyone here! Things will go slow while we re-aquaint - have to let the fiberglass cure!

I put a delay on many of the notification emails due to the DNS issue. There are still many more to be sent but I'll wait until next week. 98% of the emails that went out were return emails from people who emailed me prior to 2 years ago (pre-IB). Some go as far back as 7 years. Most of those bounce back. The other 2% were to friends and family. After the notifications are sent I will no longer use that list.

There is a forum are called SKUNKED where the wayward threads will go before they are eventually deleted. This will be a READ-ONLY forum and will open soon. Would be nice if it never had to open at all!

I'm being a bit loose on Moderating posts etc here during the re-acquaintance period but will begin to shape the forum and it's members in a few days or so. Some may not like to see their threads moved or deleted but I am serious about making this a positive and productive forum - with a bit of fun as well. For the most part everyone here has been positive.

Welcome Darren! I'm just so pizzed at this DNS issue causing errors. Been over a week now! Hopefully they'll keep trying. Glad you made it from way "down" there.

Hey there Gringo, La Gringa and any Gringettes that may be your way. It's been a tough couple of years (for us too) - time to have some fun now. It's ok to post your blog link here. In the future I might change HOW members link out but for now just place it in your sig file. Most the members here know of Freebirds site so if you have a link to it on your blog that's not a big worry in my life as people will visit where they feel comfortable, be it one site or fifty. Look forward to your posts.

Thanks HotSpot. The critics don't bother me anymore - I have Zanax now! The internet has matured and hopefully so have the people along with it. I'm inviting everyone to join ReelBoating and they can choose their destination from there. It's EASY to be negative and critical - it's why so many do it. It takes strength to be supportive.

Trouty and I actually got along well. I even tagged him as Hagar the Horrible from the cartoon. Then he went into his anti-American tirade and pizzed everyone off - Especially all our military guys. Sheese, we can get enough of that sentiment here in the States, much less from an outsider. He's welcome if he can stick to fish tales.

I think THT has gone on red alert. I haven't even tried to post there - or infiltrate the forum with links. AND - I know who the 4 MODS there are! There are some there that want to know of this site though. Richard B etc, not sure how to get hold of them. Will be sad if the members there never knew of this site, simply sad.
