Center Console Footrest Repair

Dear RB Members,

I need some advice and/or suggestions on what to do about my 2008 Mako 212 center console's footrest insert (riveted in-place) that has "yellowed" over the course of 9 years.

Please examine the inserted picture and let me know what my best approach or alternatives are towards a fix or replacement. Many Thanks for your valuable input.

Hi Vandriesg,   did you ever find a replacement for this piece?  I have the same problem, mine is even cracking in places and I cannot find a replacement anywhere!

Its really bad for you. I am also face the same problem in past years. Now i alway bought stuff some good plateform like  cool ranboo jackets.

Can't remember the name offhand but in Ft Lauderdale there was a huge Mako parts place.  Both new and salvaged.  I'll post when the name hits me!
