Mod 9 around here?

Recommended Posts

Remember the mod who called itself "Rat Patrol" ? Its lifespan lasted as long as that imbecile Mod6. Though it seemed his intelligence level was considerably higher than 6. Do you think they sold because of the disgrace Mod6 brought about by destroying the street cred of ALL the mods?

So a letter to the editor in a local paper is also a violation of the rules.

At what point does the "jurisdiction" of THT and any policies or action it has or takes become null and void? Not an argumentative question.

Personally I don't care about it but I find it sort of strange that an issue with any THTMOD discussed outside of their controlled site (RB in this example) is of any concern to them. Of course a perma ban most likely would be the end result but at that point who cares.

No changing my mind from this.

Subject: New Private Message at The Hull Truth - Boating and Fishing Forum

The THT Forum Rules are well-defined and easy-to-follow.

They define:

"Posting of personal messages, in whole or in part, which have been received by you. That includes posting them on other sites without the expressed permission of the sender. We consider Private Messages to be private.

Ignoring or arguing with warning posts a moderator or administrator makes in a thread. If you think the warning is unjust please PM them to discuss it.

Ignoring or arguing with the actions a moderator or administrator makes in a thread. If you think the action is unjust please PM them to discuss it."

Posting these personal messages in ReelBoating violates the THT rules. Arguing w/ the THT moderators in ReelBoating also violates the THT rules.

What is the objective for these flaunting violations of THT rules?

It is not only the THT rules, but it is also rude and inappropriate to post personal messages, even if those are posted on another site.

The correct process is to follow the rules and discuss issues w/ the moderators in-private.
