i trailer over to Jupiter and the Keys frequently to fish. been using these motor supports and have been well pleased. previously i would bring the trim rods in all the way for protection from road grit/damage which required a lot of battery juice to do so. these little guys support the engine and protect the trim rods as well. really only need one for engine support but i use two for the extra protection for the trim rods.

Interesting...can they be used with a transom saver or a block of wood used as a saver??

I just wedge a short piece of 4x4 between the two pointy ends that are at each of the piece you are holding. Not on the hydraulics. Both Keep the load off the hydrualics but not the transom.

I have used the M-Y Wedge for a long time. I even went back to them and got the centering clips. Great product that not only supports the motor well, but provides some shock absorption to boot.
