Rub Rail Needed

Recommended Posts

HELP! I have a section of rub rail that was damaged and would like to replace all of it. The boat is a 2003 Polar Flats 1788. I contacted Godfrey Marine (which owns Polar) but they were not able to help me as they stopped making this boat in the mid 2000's. I have attached a photo and a diagram of what I am looking for. Since I am willing to replace all of it, it does not have to match but, it does have to mount the same way.

The rub rail has a "slot" all along the backside of it that fits over a flange on the side of the hull. It screws in from below and it appears that some kind of adhesive/sealant was used as well. I am looking on the internet but thought I'd pick all the brains on CF. If you know of anything that would work, I would appreciate the info.

Thanks!!
