Working on a "Like" button for ReelBoating

I'm working on implementing a Facebook style "Like" button for ReelBoating posts. It's all internal and doesn't require FB.

Sometimes we like a post and/or the info but don't necessarily feel the urge to comment - thus, we lazily will be able to simply like!

This will also be good for the online contests posted here on ReelBoating.

Hope to have this implemented in 2-3 weeks.

It might be the strong 'Canadian' beer talking, but seeing the ReelBoating message right after Wileys post was good for a chuckle.

Look forward to the 'Like' function.

Had the opportunity to fish for tarpon in Boca, Florida a few weeks ago with Justin and have to say " beats our bass any day". Lol

I have two gripes about RB...

#1 Let the FB and anything about it go, this isn't FB.

#2 Get rid of the RB thank you post after the 1st post.

Just telling how I see it as a user/member.

The Like button will be internal... not FB related. ie. only registered RB users will be able to Like others forum posts and the Like will only display here.

I'll look into the Thank You message... might be necessary to update the database. I don't get the reply message after I post.

You know change is hard for any of us. Anyhow we can always try it and if we like it great if not you will see that not many use it by there clicking it or not

The in house LIKE button is cool , it's a way to tell some one that you like there post with out making a big deal about it.
