Hey Mike and Danny.

Mike, you made the right choice on your St Augustine trip. I was there Thursday night and Friday morning. Wind was blowing like crazy. Tried to fish Saturday out of St Simons but wind was 20 kts. Stayed inside and rode around mostly.

What do you guys think about starting 2 more threads, one titled "Atlanta Saltwater Fishing" and one titled "Atlanta Boaters". While I like the wide variety of stuff in the Lanier thread it might be better organized into 3 topics for those using the search. I do not want to clutter up the forum and divide the responses needlessly. What do you think?

Bob, I think it's a great idea. I know some of the guys don't care for the Saltwater
Stuff. Glad to hear we made the right decision on the trip. Maybe this weekend!

Danny, Where have you been hiding? Long time, no speak! When are we going to go fishing? I'm trying to get as many trips in this year as possible. You really need to try and go with us sometime. There's usually 4 or 5 boats, and you're more than welcome on mine.

I'm not a Lake Lanier boater but the split of freshwater/saltwater sounds good. I feel sure that some of the coastal people will hit both to seek or give advice where possible. It would bring both worlds together.

Anybody headed up to the Lake during the Easter weekend? The lake level is sure looking better. Got our dock reattached to the landing. Now just have to get the power reworked.

I maybe up Saturday during the day.
