Boat Conundrum

So the admiral and friends are on a shopping trip. Somewhere along the way they pass a boat store and something catches her eye. They pull in and go over the boat and she loves the looks and layout for family cruising.

She brings me the pictures and it is nicely layed out for me fishing. Nice electronics, twin 150's, plenty of rod holders and outriggers etc.

The conundrum: It is a 2008 Sea Fox.

I have never owned a Sea Fox, nor have I ever riden on one but I always thought that for the money they were a decent boat. Plenty of features, decent layout and good looking boats. I almost bought one but made the mistake of waiting and someone else grabbed it.

Buy it while she wants you to!!

Holy cow, I can't believe that I mention Sea Fox on a boating forum and it did not turn into a 4 page bash fest. Toto, were not in Kansas anymore.

I've never looked close at one. After reading about them on the other forum I thought that it would drink my liquor, run up my long distance bill, knock up my cat, catch fire and sink at the dock.

My wife loves to go boating but I would faint if SHE ever saw a boat and said, "hey, let's get that boat". Jump on it dude.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a late model Sea Fox for my intended use. I am not a hard core fisherman and I take very good care of my stuff, so it should last me indefinitely. I would let someone else take the initial depreciation hit though!
