yamaha F350 4 STROKE

Can anyone give me some feedback on the F350 yamaha 4 stroke. I am thinking about getting one for a new boat that I am looking at. Are they having any problems with them? Any input would greatly be appreciated !!!

They are good engines. It has had a few problems, but they are being worked out and they seem to be almost as reliable as the F250. Only downside is the steering is a bit loud for my taste. If you don't idle around a lot it won't bother you in the least.

Positives: Quiet, plenty of power, controls work well.

Negatives: Has had a few teething problems. Fuel economy is a little disappointing (3xF250 is noticeably more fuel efficient than 2xF350, for example)

I would not hesitate to buy a boat with them

Mine have been great at 380 hrs , not a glitch, great controls,as far as fuel burn goes they do pretty good for the power as mine are on a 33T and i can get 1.3-1.4 heavy load and 1.5 light as long as I stay under 4200 rpm . Overall I am very pleased

I don't own one, but have taken a good ride on Billy's Freeman 33 with twin F350's.

Very impressive boat and the engines were impressive too. Love the sound of those babies!

I'd rather have twin F350's than trip F250's IMO.

We have not had a problem with ours and have just over 250 hours since April 08. Yes they are a little thirsty but that is a trade off on being able to push the size boats that they are hung on. Tons of torque getting on plane and also staying on plane at lower speeds.

I heard they had a recall with a flywheel issue. Anybody know about the recall?
