So, I bought a new truck to pull my boat but I'm afraid I bought the wrong one. What should I use to pull a 16' Aquasport?

Believe it or not, I built a few 165 Stripers, as well as her twin, the Wellcraft 160CCF, back in the mid 90s. Get the wrong deck mold with the wrong hull mold...4 hours later, the boat was decked...

I knew guys that towed 165s with the old Toyota PUs with the R24 motor. She's a light boat, any smaller SUV/PU will do just fine...

Back off topic for a second (or actually on topic, depending on how you look at it). I have got to be the biggest fan of this odd little boat. The ride is incredible for a little boat and only tends to pound when you hit a sportfishers wake in the no wake zone..... now leading off topic in two different directions!

F550 ought to do it...some "helper" springs, to deal with the tongue weight...JMHO
