The regional forums I started on the other site did very well. I'd hate to get into the habit of openeing "yet another forum area you see on other sites" but do realize the importance of regions.

Another thing is a lot of local web forums have popped up over the past couple of years that are region-specific.

Let's see what the feedback is here first. Good suggestion though!

The Regional forums did really well over there and I made a lot of friends via the Carolinas Forum.

As more and more users come to RB, we may need them again, just to reduce cluttering the main forums with more region type info.

Like the layout and look forward to the new features and content as they evolve. Found the calendar at the top of the page. That could be very helpful especially if you load important events such as boat shows (WPB for a start) and other less well known events like tournaments, marine flea markets, antique boat shows, etc. I would be nice to have it all consolidated into one place.
