  1. Yea, That entry slipped my mind when I read your post. Thanks,
  2. "decided to play a game of pictionary" Not quite sure what you are getting at. Do you mean the the list of posters on the thread that is availible to everyonne? It is not meant to be negative, just informative. Maybe Jim will give the most outspoken a discount on their next purchase. No harm meant. .
  3. Slight derail: What led you to choose that location of all the places in FL? My daughter is moving to Madiera Beach next month. We have considered a move to the west coast maybe after retirement, somewhere in the same area to fish Charollet Harbor or Tampa Bay. Thanks Jeff 240 LTS . Because the interstate leaves the coast her to clear charlotte harbor, people don't accidentally end up here, and so it is overlooked by most. Englewood is not actually a city; rather it is a sleepy, unincorporated area that will likely develop slower than the more recognised areas like Ft. Myers, Venice and Sarasota. I like the quick access to the Gulf through Stump pass, and the fact that Manasota Key has chosen to restrict high rise development on the coast here, thereby limiting the amount of people here during the high season. It never seems crowded. The younger crowd isn't impressed with the area because of the lack of nightlife. We built in an area where flood insurance isn't needed, taxes are low, several marinas are nearby for boat storage and the locals seem fairly nice considering that we are part of the growing number of people moving to Florida. Excellent reasons. Sounds like what we are looking for. Thanks so much! Jeff 240 LTS .

  6. Where is the "Edit" button? Oh, I see, it becomes not available after a peroid of time. I meant to type, ."...in more places than one." ... in the other post. EDIT: I was able to edit it. .
  7. Have been a member here since 6/2009. Everything has an ebb and flood movement. There can be different reasons why things flow in each direction. Looks like there will be a flow in this direction in the near future. It is time consuming to try and be an active member on multiple forums. Wishing everyone well. Jeff 240 LTS .
  8. Glad you are offering help Brian here. It's a very large boating world out there as you are aware. The issue at THT will soon only be a memory regardless how it started, played out or ended. Your experience is welcome and needed in more places than one. Jeff 240 LTS .
  9. Lester, thanks for helping Babette and the family out. I'm sure I speak for all his unknown friends from the net, He will be missed and our prayers are with the family and close friends. Jeff 240 LTS .
  10. Not from your area but it has been acting strange this morning for me, in Maryland. .
  11. I'll start. 1. Yes 2. Brunettes 3. Wife is a blonde. I told her she is the exception to the rule. Nothing is 100%. Long, long ago, when I was single, it didn't matter. .
