  1. John is a regular guy, Im thankful for the shows content and approach,,
  2. Dont know about all the spitting on this post, but,, i have a 2006 25 Proline CC, and its been a wonderful boat to fish from. It has brought my family years of enjoyment. NO lamination, and built like a tank. Sorry to see the company having issues, This economy has evveryone tighening their belts. My Proline is Mercury powered and has a bracket mounted 225. Sometimes i wish the engine was larger but it has proven reliable and only requires general maint and replacement parts. Just my 2 cents, Been fishing the waters off of Boynton Beach , and now Pompano florida for years, We also had a 23 Key West , and it has also served us well, sold the Key West, and now we no longer trailer the Proline, we purchaced a home on the intra-coastal and are still enjoying our NON laminating Proline.
  3. you have plenty of truck,,,better check out the trailer,, its always the weak link..!!
  4. OK.. i'm a guy that spent 40 years boating in South Florida.. 4 years ago i relocated to upstate NY.. On the Hudson River.. I took my 23 Key West WA up here with me.. If you have to deal with Snow Load, Shrink Wrap is the thing to do "HANDS DOWN" ...Be careful about taking advice from Flat Landers about winterizing a boat for the Northeast. Blue traps are good for covering your roof after a hurricane ,but SUCK for snow and winter protection on your boat, especially a larger boat with a wider beam.! Its quite reasonalbe ($$) up here to have it done annually. Of course the best solution is to have your boat kept inside for the winter.
  5. Keep looking ,, there are many great deals out there,, look also on Wileys old site Thehulltruth.com. there boats for sale site is chock full of great deals on great brand name boats..good luck
  6. Waterman,, how did the Seatrial go on the boat your interested in ?
  7. Perhaps in his dreams.. Funny ,,he has seen so many he can't remember where. There have been sitings in LA LA Land I'm told.
  8. The Answer is,,, You should SEA TRIAL the boats on your pick list , and the answer will be much clearer to you.. Our opinions will help ,, but its YOUR opinion the counts,, only a few things can be determined when its sitting on a trailer, or in a showroom,, Sea Trial is the key to your happiness.
  9. Joe .. the rust belt states are dieing. be thankful your in a good market..
  10. Yolo, you should call denny-os saleman and give him some tips..
  11. cover cushions are about $85 - $100,,,go for it,, ,, you spend that in bait, beer, cigerettes and ice, in a couple of weeks..
