  1. Houston Fishing Show

Lots of great gear there for sure.
  2. the best boat wax

Rejex is excellent on a clean surface. My YF21 and vehicles get Rejex - easy on and off. http://www.rejex.com/
  3. cleaning electronics

I was amazed at the result and I have tried lots of different things over the years.

I use Wave Away on all of my stuff - Raymarine, Garmin and Lowrance displays. It is excellent on those nasty waterspots, too. http://waveaway.com/

  7. 94 tripletail

Yes, it was posted by a few LA guides at the SaltyCajun link, that has since been moved to its premium 'Gill Net' section. BTW, THT, FS and 2coolfishing have similar threads. The posts says 3 fisherman at 2 cool, - who knows. Limit is 3 in TX and MS - No limit in LA though.

  10. Boating Pet Peeves?

    1) black soled shoes on non-skid 2) guys that tie up in the ramp to load the boat from tow vehicle. 3) boaters and jet skiers that run between you and the bank on long drifts down a shoreline.

  12. Maui Jim

MJs are great eyewear. I have 2 pair - One for golf - very light and one for fishing - with a frame that wraps around a bit and handles high speed runs. I liked my Ocean Waves, too - but they went swimming... Yes, the MJs are pricey, but well worth the $$s - ditto most good equipment, rods, reels, etc. Good luck.
  13. http://mercurymarine.com/engines/jetdrives/optimax-jet-drives-specs.php Merc Sport jet. Great power and efficient thrust ratios. Btw, Simmons Custom Boats is rumored to be toying with this in their rigs. www.simmonscutomboats.net Not sure about status though.
  14. Atlas Jackplates

Porta makes a great JP, that can handle high HPs. See: http://www.portaproducts.com/index.php?page=photo-gallery
