  1. Ludi, I have the Sea Key system with the display screen at the helm. The unit itself had some problems and I had it replaced a few times but other than that it works very well and the Geofence operates like clockwork. Just about every time I set the geofence I forget to take it off and they call me up right away. It's expensive but the best in my opinion.
  2. Flying into town on Thursday and flying out Sunday. Can't wait.
  3. Anyone??? Just curious what interests you in the new era Cabos now that Brunswick owns them? Generally anything Brunswick takes over goes down in quality. Cabo used to be the cat's azz for express boats but nowadays I'm not sure if I could ever put the same trust in them.
  4. 300 gallons of fuel? Pretty much explains why this is a coastal cruiser and not a great fishing boat. Ive run this model, and at 52-55mph we were averaging 1.5mpg,.. Nortech also has an available second tank holding close to 500 gallons. 500 should be standard on a boat this size with triples. I get around the same fuel efficiency and there are times I wish I held more than 420 gallons. Boat looks nice, would make a great tender to a large yacht. I feel like it falls into the Deep Impact market more so than the hardcore fish boat market.

  6. 75 mph with no hard top...would like to see some numbers fully rigged with top, antennas, radar, enclosure, etc.
  7. Capt. Rick, I would say it's about 400 ft. of water 3 miles off.
  8. Got some time freed up to detail the German saloon. Did a simple Dawn wash (dish soap) to remove grease and old wax. That stuff does its job pretty well. I wish I had more time to clay bar the entire car but maybe next time I will. Used Woody's Carnuba wax designed for automotive and boat use. My best advice is LESS IS MORE. A little goes a long way and my orbital buffer did a good job at spreading it. My only problem was that it was a PITA to take off because I applied it a little too thick and I think the air here is too moist to let it dry perfectly. Just took some extra elbow grease to get it all out. Here are some crappy phone pix, but friends say it looks very nice and it is as soft as a baby's ass! I did all windows with it as well and water beads off like it wasn't even there even in the pouring rain. Very impressive. I feel like the products that are harder to remove are also better for longevity.
  9. I guess that depends on where you're fishing. Hope that "oil relesae" gets cleared up soon for you guys. Mike An Easterly flow is best for us on the east coast of South Florida.
  10. ???? Not quite sure how that is supposed to work for me? Maybe, you (or anyone) could 'splain this to me... Befuddled in Stuart. Jon You could tell all your friends you have an 'Invincible' boat. Not sure how it would work for you, but again, nice rig and best of luck in getting her sold.
  11. Welcome and thank you for your service in the Navy.
  12. Take my Invincible and I'll run this boat around South Florida for you.
