#42843 CABO 36 EXPRESS

Posted by mjberrocal on 06 November 2011 - 06:43 PM

Well, I just got back from the show at FORT LAUDERDALE. I sea trialed the CABO 36. The boat had C-7's with ZF pod drives (new system from ZF). The boat had a marlin tower, the only way to go in a boat of this size in my opinion. The tower was gorgeous. The poles ran inside the cabin instead of in the outside, it was a new design. Easy to get up and down and the boat did not rock up there. Much to my surprise the boat ran as flat as you can expect, short of a bullet center console. Much of that in my opinion was due to the pods. I do not believe that the shafts would make the bow go that much more higher. I was very satisfied with the boat. I tested the boat on Monday and the seas were 4 to 5. Ideal nasty sea to try the boat. I felt the boat very light, perhaps due to the fact that it had 1/2 tank of diesel and of course no fishing gear. We were 6 people in it. I also felt that the C-7's were very powerful. The acceleration was very quick. The boat was very responsive due to the pods. It was like riding a big center console. I wonder how much the boat would loose in terms of efficiency with regular shafts. Could not get an answer from the ZF or Cabo people there. Here are some pictures, not good ones, but at least some pictures. Quality was outstanding. The boat did NOT pound and we DID NOT get wet. I tried the sucker in all directions at different speeds. Only down side was the price, for a boat this size.

#50639 1992 Boston Whaler 23 Walkaround

Posted by JLimb on 23 June 2012 - 06:28 AM

I am selling my Whaler. It is 27'4" with the Whalerdrive. Powered by twin 1992 Yamaha 200HP engines. The engines are counter rotating. The boat has a full transom with a live well and pressure sink. Moving forward there is. Hardtop with full enclosure. There is also a cockpit mooring cover. The boat has original electronics ,radar, fish finder, chart plotter, and autopilot. In the cabin there is another sink ,full berth with filler, table, and porta potti under the starboard bunk. A 2005 trailer is included. Trailer has only been used to launch and retrieve the boat in the spring and fall. The engines hours are unknown as the previous owner wasn't sure. I have averaged less than fifty hours per season since buying the boat five years ago.  My mechanic has kept the engines in fine running form, but has told me I will either need a rebuild or new engines in a couple of years.  I will put up pictures when I can figure out how to do it. A google search of 1992 Whaler brings up the pics of this boat on he other boat site. I am asking $24,000 firm.

#42650 04 Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman 2000LT

Posted by Cooper on 10 October 2011 - 08:26 AM

I'm posting this ad for a friend. I've fished on this boat ~40 times over the past few years so I can probably answer general questions, but please direct anything specific to the owner (contact information below). We're planning to purchase a new boat together when this one sells, so obviously I think he maintains his stuff and treats it right. Posted Image

’04 Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman 2000LT

Price: $21,000
Location: Deale, MD

Year: 2004
Model: Cape Fisherman 2000 Light Tackle Edition
Length: 20.5’
Beam: 8’
Weight: ~3000lbs
Power: Yamaha F150 (515 hrs)
Trailer: Loadrite tandem axle roller trailer (galvanized)

  • Livewell (in front of console)
  • Raw water wash down
  • VHF
  • Fishfinder (Raymarine DS500X)
  • GPS (Garmin GPSmap 172C)
  • Trim tabs (Lenco)
  • Dual batteries
  • Hydraulic steering (Teleflex SeaStar)
  • Pop-up cleats and bow light
  • Under-gunnel rod racks (3 rods on each side)
  • Console rod holders (3 spinning/trolling, 1 fly)
  • Leaning post rod holders (4)
  • Bimini top (stainless steel, gray sunbrella fabric)
  • Tackle storage drawers in console
  • 57gal fuel capacity
  • Full boat cover + console cover
  • Includes spare prop (brand new OEM)
  • Trailer has hydraulic disc brakes (4)

Additional Information:

This model was designed specifically for light tackle and fly fishing, but it also works perfectly well for trolling. It’s fuel efficient yet seaworthy. I’ve been extremely pleased with this boat but am upgrading to a 25 footer.

Both the boat and trailer are clean and well-maintained, with everything in good working condition. The bimini top was installed in spring 2011. It collapses down and out of the way when not in use.

The boat has been stored either on the trailer (covered) or in an enclosed boatel, except for one season in a slip. The bottom paint (light gray, ablative) is gradually wearing off.

I’m including several pictures in this post (below). You can see dozens more at this link:

I’m happy to answer questions. Thanks for looking.

#11959 The Trading Dock Guidelines

Posted by Wiley on 13 May 2009 - 02:00 PM

Sell Your Personal Boat or Marine Item Using The Trading Dock - FREE!

Growing by leaps and bounds each month, ReelBoating is a very effective online method to use when selling your boat or boating & fishing gear.

Individual Classifieds:
Currently it is FREE to list your personal boating and fishing items for sale on the Trading Dock.

How To Post:
- Go to the Trading Dock Forum where you would like to post and click the "New Topic" button. You are now ready to create your ad.
- Type in your ad subject and a detailed description of the item you wish to sell. Be sure to include your contact information.
The internal ReelBoating Private Messaging feature is a great way to communicate with potential buyers.
- Before you submit your ad you may wish to attach a photo of your item you have stored on your computer. To do this simply find a file on your computer using the BROWSE button, then click UPLOAD. The maximum file size you can upload is listed in the upload window.
If you do not wish to include an image simply click Submit after typing your ad. You may also use HTML to link to your image if you are hosting it off-site.
- Review your ad and correct any errors if necessary. You may also make unlimited revisions and corrections to the body of your ad by using the "Edit" button located at the bottom right of your post.

Here are the Basic Rules for posting your ad in the Trading Dock:
Personal items only in the Individual Classifieds.

BROKERS - For the time being I will allow a limited amount of broker listings.
Just please be respectful of the others using the classifieds and do not treat the forum as your online marketplace.

- Multiple listings of similar items (rods, reels, parts etc) will be considered a business listing and not allowed in individual classifieds.
- Please limit your ads to one per week.
- Trading Dock Ads will run approximately 3 months before they are deleted or frozen. If you do not sell your item within 4 months you will need to place another ad.
- "Bumping". The technique of replying to a thread simply to bring it back to the top will not be tolerated. The process known as "bumping" or BTT or TTT posts (especially when replying to your own thread) if done on a consistant basis may result in your thread being frozen completely. It is an unfair practice to others that post in the classified for you to bring your ad continually to the top - or have someone else do it for you.

Making Replies to a For Sale Post:
- Please limit replies to For Sale posts to questions about the item being sold.
- The person posting their ad is doing so to sell their item and not necessarily to get into discussions regarding their asking price or to open discussions for comparisons of their item to other items.
- Sellers are not obligated to answer or reply to questions about their product publicly.
- Off topic replies and those of the nature above will be deleted and the poster warned.

Thank you for using ReelBoating.com

#54883 24ft Rampage $3,500

Posted by nate22 on 05 March 2013 - 03:05 PM

Hi everyone

Listing my 24ft Rampage cuddy cabin hull
& Galvanized trailer for sale. This is a project boat that needs
some work. This is the hard to find bracketed model, design for outboard

Located in Southern GA

Will help ship world wide

Reach me @ b_i_a_w@hotmail.com

Builder: Rampage

Hull Shape: Modified Vee design

Year 1989

LOA: 24 ft 0 in

Beam: 9 ft 11 in

Minimum Draft: 2 ft 8 in

Dry Weight: 4900 lbs

Number of single berths: 2

Number of cabins: 1

Number of heads: 1

NOTE: I don’t know what systems are functioning on this boat

Comes with hydraulic steering, Bennett trim tabs, stainless
wheel, Mercury top mount dual lever control box, bilge pumps, New head
in cabin.

Wiring is all there but would need to be cleaned up or rewired. (has corrosion on certain terminals)

(no electronics) only 1 new inverter battery charger.

No Engine

single or twins can be used.

All 3 gas tanks were replaces with new tanks in 2007 @ over $2,000 not installed.

Has a relatively new hard canvas top that needs to be fixed, got bent
from snagging a tree. Was told it would cost between $400-$600 to fix.
Cost around $6,000 to make new. (piping is not salted up)

Note: the top did not pull away from its mounting base. There are minor stress cracks that wold need to be addressed.

The gel-coat on the hull exterior sides is in good condition, and
would be receptive to buffing-dealing.The deck & cockpit will need
additional attention. I would suggest repainting or line X to refreshing

Engine bracket will need to be flared and painted, it is structurally sound, and solid.

Hull bottom has bottom paint. No hull damage below the water line.

New head, cushions are not teared, wood not rotted, liner needs cleaning.

Exterior teak needs oiling

Exterior upholstery needs freshening up

is galvanized but road worthy, tires are in good condition, has new non-powered hand winch. Not sure of brand.

NOTE: this is a project hull that is in a solid structural state. (no wood rot)

This would make a very nice boat for someone that has the time, and resources to restore to her original glory.

This is a huge 24ft boat, very beamy, with very nice lines for a cuddy
cabin style boat. I would not be even considering selling this hull, if
I was not in the middle of a SeaCraft restore.

I have seen this particular model sell for $20,000+ in the last year with a single EFI 2st outboard on back.

This boat has plenty of potential, and represents good value.

Give away price @ $3,500
