  1. Will the "Barracuda " on the side be able to be removed easily? Is it a sticker or painted on?
  2. I just did the oil change, lower unit lube change, put in new oil and fuel / water separators on a pair of Yamaha F150's this past weekend. This was the first time I have done this work and it took about 1.5 hours, which is not bad considering it was my first time and I was pretty cautious. I ordered the MityVac pump and Yamaha parts from Shipyard Island Marina and will definitely be doing my own oil, lower unit, and filter changes from now on. Saved labor expense at $80 per hour from the dealer and learned a little about the motors. I will leave the more technical stuff like water pumps/impellers to the dealer. I would encourage you to try it once yourself....I am no mechanic but it is very simple. Believe I could do both motors in less than 1 hour now for sure.
  3. I went to the store in Atlantic Beach NC this weekend. The same story everyone else is telling...big signs with everything marked down 20 to 50%, but the only thing in the whole store I saw that was 50% off was two tables of junk that I wouldn't buy if it was 99% off. Lots of folks looking but not much buying. We bought a couple of plugs at 20% off, but they were no great steal. Inventory levels looked high, so not much has moved yet. I believe it will take something more drastic to reduce down to the bare walls.
