  1. I know up here we are not allowed to have open liquor on board while the craft is in motion. We can only have open liquor on board while the craft is on the hook AND the craft meets the criteria of a dwelling. With saying that, I don't know what the law says about larger yachts and open liquor?
  2. It ALL depends on the quality of the meds. I for one have some inside knowledge that meds and drink can lead to your boat being scuttled and you (being the captain of said boat) sent a drift in someone else's fast leaking dinghy w/o a bailing device. Tim ............as my grade 10 & 11 math teacher once said to me as he escorted me to the principal's office for skipping class, "Did you have fun while you skipped my class? If not, you should have. The concequences are the same if you did not; so you might as well got some fun out of it".
  3. Well thank you, and to your's as well. Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year
  4. Lester ..............you OLD fart you........Happy Birthday! ......oh right, I did a LOT of that yesterday for the both of us. Either way buddy, Happy Birthday
  5. Les I hope you're feeling as good as I am.....I even slept in this morning.
  6. Thanks Les but last night was ALL about "me" and how much I could STUFF down my pie hole with secondary thoughts on the drink........I rolled away from the table like a pig ready for slaughter. However with today being a stat holiday I have brought you on board.......I know full well l'm going to drink WAY more then "I" should, so that's where you'll come in, we are already two sheets into the wind and working on ten sheets into the wind. Boy I'm not very popular around here that or Canadians aren't? Pffffffffft to all of you that couldn't say happy thanksgiving back!
  7. Yup this is the weekend for us up here. Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow countrymen.
  8. Les is that all you and your neighbors have to talk about over a few beers? Here's what you do, keep the boat because it's probably worth the most. Then sell the boat and keep the fishing gear. Then turn around and buy a small John boat and pick up a used 870 so you can go duck hunting and buy a mask, snorkel and fins.......you can get your own damn birds. Say hi to Wayne and Dee for me.
  9. So who gets the house and hoards of cash stashed in the bank, under the mattress, in the coffee can in the cupboard, buried by the big tree out back and the stash of cash in the back corner of the shed?
  10. I know up here the only time open booze is allowed on a boat is when the boat is anchored, but I don't know about the really big boats. But in saying that, the boat must have sleeping quarters, galley w/ sink, frig/ built in ice box and a head.
  11. Ralph, I'll let you in on a little secret, that's you and him!
  12. Congrats Ersk I hope everything on the honeymoom was nothing short of fantasic..........were are the pics? Yah know we've got'ta have the pics.
  13. Welcome to the forum Steve...............I don't know American prices, but at 29.5 for the pair that's a great deal up here! To bad I'm an I/O.
