  1. I'm second owner of a 2003 Triton 232 and I am thoroughly pleased with the boat. I've also had great experience dealing with the factory. Drain fittings, hatch locks, and even a live well stand pipe that went missing were cheerefully sent to me no charge. I remember the first time I saw a Sea Hunt while cruising into my marina on my 30' pilot boat which I sold to buy a CC. I said to my wife, hey that sure is a pretty boat there. It was probably a 20' with a T-top. Now I see Sea Hunts everywhere and no one has a bad word to say about them. Nice job they have done. Hope they survive this economy. John G
  2. Thanks guys. Yes, Aluminum is what I want. Thanks for the info. John
  3. I have a Yamaha F225 with a 13-3/4 x 21 prop (original equip) and we ran in some shallows and got it a little chewed up last season. Not bad but I would like to get a new spare. How much should I expect to pay and who should I buy from? Thanks for any sugestions. John
  4. Snicker, A Yamaha mechanic told me that after any layup I should buy two spin-on filters (10 micron). Run the engine for about ten minutes with one, then replace it with the second new one. I haven't had any trouble with my 2003 F225 but I think I'll follow that advice. Hope you get things cleared up. John Gov.
  5. Will this be a serious boaters site with little tollerance for wisecracking and politics, or a full flavored hangout like you might expect around your own marina, boatyard, or ramp? Will it be serious nuts and bolts which can be very helpful to many or yadayadayada? just wondering what the direction is. Thanks, John Gov.
  6. Lowpressure fuel pump? That sounds like another thing to worry about? I have a 2003 Yamaha 225 and have done filters, t-stats, impeller (Is that sometimes called the water pump so as to charge more money) or is water pump replacement something more than impeller replacement? Thanks, John Gov.
  7. Hey, can we get a list of all those who have been banished from other sites. I like hearing from those with outrageous views. It makes it fun. Maybe we can provide certain badges of freedom for those who have been banned, trashed, abused, made fun of, or even those who have been ignored. It's Spring,! I'm Happy! boating season is here, and I just can't wait to have fun on the water! John Gov.
