  1. First off...thanks for all the pix... must of been a bear to post! Appreciate it. Im thinking of putting a pair of the new yams on my WW28... not sure the downside of 300's at the same weight as F250's though (beside cost).
  2. Thanks. Just made a reservation. Block is something like 15-18m. Where should I keep the boat? 30ft CC. Thanks again.
  3. Can anyone suggest a NICE place to stay on Block Island? Will be running the boat over from Montauk. Thanks.
  4. For my twin outboard 28 foot center console it is widely regarded that the new Garmin GHP 10 (old TR-1) is arguably the best choice. However, I have a Navnet vx/2 (which I like alot btw) and I am wondering how much functionality I would give up by not getting a Furuno AP. For example would having a dedicated AP add back some of the features that the AP itself doesnt carry? What would be your pick for my 28ft cc with twin yam f225's? Garmin AP, Furuno AP or Simrad? Anyone have reliability issues with the garmin? If so were they instalation issues or product defects? Thanks for your time.
  5. I know capt. It's all good. I agree.
  6. Funny right?!? I haver all this expensive crap on my boat up in the Northeast, but Im going to buy a couple $75 outfits for giggles. NOW- I have no idea if that drag will ever stop a fish again, but for that price who cares.
  7. First post. Made the most of a hookup last weekend on light tackle. 30lb braid but the "system" held together. Fish was 51inches and the fight was a little under two hours. Good thing we brought the fancy equipment. Caught on my buddies Whitewater 32.
