  1. I was down there the weekend of the 8th. My girlfriend was doing her open water dives on Sunday and a training dive or two on saturday. I didnt want to tag along on the training dives so I dragged the boat down and fished with her family who live down there on saturday. Put the lines in about 80 feet then trolled out to about 400 to 500 foot of water. Found a bunch of weeds. Then No Chit we hooked up a Blue Marlin!!! on a small blue and pink jet head!!! It put on a show just like on TV!!! it was great!!! It eventully broke a clip and got off but man it made my MONTH!!! first time I have hooked up a blue Marlin ever. First time I saw one Ever!!! I have no proof other than my girlfriends parents and brother. Had a go pro set up but didnt have it running and the family culdnt figure it out till it got off!! I had a great time. it was the only thing that bit all day long but was worth it. Trying to figure out pictures here. IMG_0498.MOV
  2. Yes, I believe the hot chicks in the photos point out the new nice features in suggestive manor might be a good addition to the pics!!!
  3. While i like the videos, I find the pictures better viewing.
  4. Might try and head down in the next week or two. Last thing I saw was the fishing was super slow down there. Just wondering if anyone down there will say if it has picked up or not.
  5. I fear I am getting water trapped in my hull. If i create an access point would a wet dry vac be the tool i would need to pump it dry?
  6. Outside of exercise i don't think there is much of a market. Have you seen the Hobie mirage drive system(http://www.hobiecat.com/kayaking/miragedrive.html)? For use in fishing it would need to be hands free and quiet.
  7. Ok here we go, i'm trying to install a bilge plug assembly on the transom of my boat. the boat was repo'd and for what ever reason they took out the old one. i went out and bought a new plug assembly and epoxy and some marine sealent. I plan on cleaning the area ok work putting epoxy over the inside of the hole and putting the sealent around the screws and outside flange of the female end of the bilge plug assembly and inserting the female plug part of the assembly into the transom and screwing it in. Being that there are previous screw holes should i use epoxy on the previous holes and use the same holes or seal the old ones up and make new ones? am i doing this correctly? is there a tube that the female end goes into? i have nothing but a hole with hull foam and bilge. I think i'm over thinking this but i want to do it right.
  8. Bought my first boat today. its a 2003 angler 2200 Grande Bay. Its got a 200 4 stroke yamaha with 43 hours. I got it for a little under 12 G's. how do you think i did? it was a repo boat so it does need a little work but it looks good me. and its my first post on this forum!
