That is correct. Water was leaking around the seal under the seat that is protecting the batteries. I am going to replace the seal when I replace the switch.

Does anyone have any good ideas of how to prevent the terminals from getting corroded on a dual battery switch. I just changed out the switch this year and its full of corrosion this early into the season. Any help would be appreciated.
