  1. I agree with miketv, you can't go wrong with the FCV585 or FCV620. Furuno is first rate when it comes to fish finders!
  2. I personally like a separate electronics forum. The search is fine, but if I don't know what the thread name is, how do I know what to search for??? If there is a dedicated forum, I can glance through the list to see if there are any topics that are of interest to me or apply to what I'm looking for. Just my 2 cents...
  3. There are some components that work with both and some components that don't. For example, you would have to change out the display and the radar antenna. You can keep the old GPS antenna, BBFF1 fish finder, transducer, sirius weather module, AIS, ethernet hub and probably the network cables. The radar antenna cable is now ethernet, instead of the special radar cable. Hope this helps.
  4. Hey guys, I was just on Furuno’s website looking up their Class B AIS for my NavNet 3D. They are runnin a $100 rebate on the Class B AIS right now. They’re also runnin a rebate on the displays themselves for $250 and $300. (Wish they would of had that when I bought mine!) These Furuno deals are much better than the deals I’ve seen recently from Ray or Lowrance. Check it out if you’re in a buying position, now’s the time to get a deal.
  5. How about an eletronics area for us gizmo junkies???
  6. Hey Halffull - Keep us updated, I'm curious how the Garmin and NavNet 3D compare. Looks like a good setup!
