  4. How about a 1999 Wellcraft 270 coastal, twin 200 johnsons.....very good condition.
  5. Invest in a infared thermometer, check each hub at every stop, that will reveal the most.
  6. Was in 40' out from crystal river saturday. On the hook and catchin good, when about 60 yards away a small billfish made 4 jumps. She was about 3 1/2 feet in length and 1/3 was bill. Dorsal fin retracted, and translucent silver in color, the back more silvery than the belly. Anybody have an idea on what species ?
  7. I did a similar thing for a large umbrella on a generator.........condensation built up and the umbrella rotted. A vent/drain on the underside took care of it......but it does not get submerged at the ramp.
  8. Thankyou, I learned from the videos.
  9. Thanks folks. Sounds to me like I outta do it. Okie doke, it's done. Thanks again.
  10. Already have the gps and vhf interfaced, down to just the last step of regeresting for mmsi.......... just not sure if I want everybody knowing where I am each time I key the mic. Also, in theory if the boat is going down, and I leave the boat with the automated distress going, the vhf should turn off once the boat is flooded. But, let's it does not....now they might be looking in two spots......1 spot for vhf, 1 spot for plb. Will they go for plb first ?
  11. Have you implemented mmsi & dsc on your vhf ? Any reasons not to ?
  12. Google "St. Elmos Fire". I've had it first hand. Keep moving, and consider yourself lucky.
