  1. Sold my World Cat 27 about 6 weeks ago and just picked up a Cape Horn 31 with 350's 3 weeks ago. What a difference in speed!!!!!!!!
  2. I had C-Map on my last boat and C Map Max on my new VX-2 stuff. I like it and they have good customer service when I have needed to transfer points and have help with computer to plotter. I like the PC Planner software a lot for referencing your data on the computer. It has proven to be very accurate both inshore in the ICW and offshore.
  3. Used to do a bunch of backpacking, Outward Bound, all of that stuff when I was younger. The Graveyard fields mentioned above and the Shining Rock wilderness around Asheville are very nice...also consider Linville Gorge. Shining Rock to Cold Mountain and back is a real good weekend trip and off the beaten path.
  4. 2003 Key West 1720 with a 90 Johnzuki 4 stroke. Livewell, 2 bank battery charger, Garmin 120 fishfinder, Kenwood AM/FM/CD, Minn Kota Riptide 74lbs on a quick mount base, 2 Cabelas type 27 trolling motor batteries. Bimini, full cover and full cushions rarely used. The boat was garage kept and is in very good condition, the only old item on the boat is the trolling motor but it has kept working well so has not been replaced. Engine is in the 150 hour range and freshly serviced. A great little boat that we have outgrown. Low retail by the book is 9500.00....I am asking 9000.00.
  5. Good to hear...I am one of the many Tom has helped over the years. I run a cat boat now that doesn't even have trim tabs and I'm still glad to see you over here!
  6. Sounds like a plan Tom. You are the prodigal son way up there in Virginia.
  7. Love appreciated. I called you the other day Ralph to talk some fishing....then forgot to call you back. We need to set up some fishing...inshore/offshore. You and pops can roll down and I can show you where I fish on the New River.
  8. That's right Steve.....dentists' need boat gas money like everybody else. Try to cross file on your medical insurance. That works a lot of the time with surgical procedures.
  9. Became a life member for the same reason Dave.
  10. They called me last year with tuna catch questions....figured because I have a rec. tuna permit.
