I'm building a custom radar arch for my 1974 Trojan F32 (twin Cummins 6BTA diesels) in my spare time. It is made of 1"OD, 16Ga (0.065" wall) 304L stainless steel tubing, Swagelok orbital TIG welded together with 316 cast stainless fittings. It will have: radar, (2) VHFs antennas, AM/FM antenna, GPS antenna,TV antenna, horns, nav/anchor light, spreader lights I still need to MIG in the set screw holes, clean welds, electropolish, final buff and install ... Heres what the final electropolished, buffed Swagelok orbital welds look like:
