  1. lightening doesn't generally strike twice. there are a lot of forums out there. the one you started is a major one and the source for most of us "finding" RB. a basic question: how many newspapers do you subscribe to or read? can't do them all. i don't have any solutions for you, but it definitely isn't anything related to you. ron
  2. terrible. conditions didn't look too bad. did you ever find out what caused the swamping? ron
  3. 5200 below the waterline. there are two types. fast cure is labeled as permanent. the regular 5200 can be removed. i think gfranz is talking about Antibond. ron
  4. you should check that again. the gpsmap 421s is listed as a chartplotter that takes g-2 chips. maybe there is no chart chip in what you are looking at. it indicates it comes with just the worldwide basemap. check out the garmin site for more info. ron
  5. i have a larger boat with dual 5212's. i shutoff one when drifting. why do you need all three on?
  6. i registered thru boat us. pretty easy. ron
  7. slap a 12k genny on there and she's good to go
  8. the new ones use the updated parts. my recall work on one of the engines was done before i took delivery. by now, i would guess that almost all of the ones with the problem have been updated.
  9. mine are working as advertised. about 80 hours.
  10. Welcome to the ReelBoating Forum ElyseM :)
