I've been noticing some rock bottom pricing on the V-Max series...maybe it's a sign...hopefully we will see a new era of less weight and more power

I will definitely put this to them. This is the second week it has been in the shop, so any suggestions will help. I will let you know what we come up with.

How is the ride and is the boat truly self bailing or do you need to keep plugs in the floor drains?

Yeah, the 225HP has been out for a while now, but I'm talking about 200HP model?

I was talking with a sales rep at a marina and he said Yam. is finally coming out with a 200hp 20" shaft 4stroke. Has anyone else heard this?....and does anyone have any good news about it i.e. weight, cost etc?

Hey guys, seeing if anyone has either one of these boats, late models,...and can give any helpful information on these boats? I have read all the specs, seen pictures on their websites etc, but would like to hear which boat is more preferred for ride, draft, speed, stability, and quality. I fish inshore flats, bays, beaches and occasional reef.

We have twin 250 E-tecs and the starboard engine keeps shutting down when you go above 4k rpms. Now, the thing is you can run over 4k for about 2 minutes, or 30 seconds, depending on when the engine's sensor kicks you down. It is reading that the engine is overheating. Has anyone had this problem, or know why it would be overheating only above 4k?
