  1. I revived mine by super glueing a glass outrigger eye over the worn out end. Works better than when it was new! Sabiki are a pain in the fingers, arms, or wherever you happen to get stuck by them. If I get a dozen macks off of one rig without getting sharked, I am happy to drop it in the trash can when I'm done, and start with a fresh rig next time. BTW, I hardly ever use the sabiki rod anymore either, a stiff 7' spinning rod/reel spooled with 30# spectra has far better feel, and quicker to boat fish when the tax collector is calling.
