    I had the same fogging problem on my 585. Called up Furuno and they took care of the problem. Great products which they stand behind.

    Go with the racor, the plastic bowl is reuseable, you'll just need a new filter element for the next change.

    I have a 585 on my boat (28ft Carolina Cat) and use a transom mount airmar p66 and have no problems reading bottom I cruise in the upper 20's

    Power Tech OFS4 Offshore series-four blade-mirage type 15d x 16p. One is counter-rotation. great shape. They were on a pair of 225 optimax's, their hubs are pressed in so they would fit an optimax or 4 stroke merc. I'm looking for $450 for the pair. 201-240-4631 Mark I'm located in NJ
