  1. Photos of my 2003 Quintrex welded aluminum center console built in Australia. Just over 18 feet, about 1400 lbs. w/out the long shaft Yamaha 115 Four Stroke which weighs a hefty 425lbs. Just big enough for southern Chesapeake Bay out of Virginia Beach on nice days. I like the wide gunnels and fully enclosed transom, especially when I am by myself for the safety factor. Light enough for this senior citizen to trailer, launch and retrieve by myself.
  2. Also use the Furuno 620 in the lower Chesapeake Bay and really like it. I just wish they had put a higher resolution screen other than the old standard 240 by 320 pixel count on the 5.6 inch screen. But another finder that is interesting is the new Sitex SVS 650 6.5 inch with a 450 by 750 pixel count high resolution screen. It also has two rotary knobs as the 620 and is less expensive. The Sitex is probably modeled somewhat to compete with the 620. If I were buying today, I would have to give this new Sitex a hard look.
