Posts: 348 braids for Spinning reels I'm new at running braids, I want to try running a top shot of 110 yds of 65-80 lbs braid on a jigging rig. Is there a braid that's made or better for spinning reels or for jigging? for now I'm going to run 50 lbs mono backing and 65-80 lbs braid to 60 lbs mono to my jig. I fish no deeper than 150 ft and target grouper snapper etc and A.J's up to 60 70 lbs. Home port, I fish the sw gulf __________________

  5. Wow! nice! recently I took a 40 lber and that was a fight to remember. I'd love to get a big boy like that one We caught a few that day
  6. I believe the trans formation and changes in quality happened after Brunwick took over the Trophy line in 2000. thats what I was told when I bought mine new in 2004. The only problems I've had is replaced my livewell pump and the lettering on my dash wore completely off, thats pretty darn good for a 5 yr old boat, Oh I forgot I had to replace my horn too.
  7. I have tried products from Arorua, and Star bright and a product from Wal mart shelf, etc. and I'm not impressed with none of the products. I have a very agressive none slip and it's impossible to "buff to a shine" the grip is too deep to get into. My boat is 5 yrs old and looks like it's never been out til you look at the deck, it's clean, but dull as ever and it's driving me crazy! I don't think I could ever get the shine back. If you think Woody will do it please send me a free sample! If it works I'll send you the cost of the product and praise the stuff to everyone I know.
  8. Love my 2004 2302, great boat for the money.
