  1. That is a needed change. I decided to join prior to 9/11 and had paid my way through without any debt but they said no to grad school but would pay off my loans.
  2. I know this is for Louisiana but would it not preclude other white, green and red lights? Do other states not have similar regulations?
  3. 1976 15' hydrosport with an 85 Javelin. The floor and stringers rotted out and I pulled the engine off and put it on a welded aluminum jon boat (way over powered). With a light load and trimmed out you could turn the steering wheel and the boat would turn but the engine would continue to go straight so I had to have some strakes welded on the bottom. That engine would eat powerpacks like crazy!
  4. Cracker, To clarify, I do not consider willfully making false statements ie lying and refusal to answer a question to be the same thing and this is the case in most jurisdictions.
  5. I am not advocating this approach and I am certainly not saying lie, I was only inquiring if it was legally required of an individual to do so in florida. I am not a florida resident and floridas laws would have little/no bearing in louisiana, I was just asking. The majority of the time that I am stopped on the water by the LDWF, I am duck hunting and they assume that everyone is armed. In fact, I do not ever remember even being asked except one time I was on a preserve and completely forgot that I had an old .22 in my tackle box but that is a different situation and during the Katrina aftermath which is also unusual.
  6. Cracker (since you are fielding the questions), Is there any state or federal law that requires you to acknowledge that you have a weapon on board?
