  1. For more information: Brian Johnston (678) 779-2305 Brian@bonefishcommunications.com Lenny Mazzotti (860) 977-0560 Lenny@autotether.com For Immediate Release Autotether Named as Sponsor of Gulf Coast Benefit Concert Fish Aid Music Festival to Benefit Gulf Coast Recovery Chester, Ct., January 4, 2011 – Autotether, Inc., creator of the boating industry’s first wireless kill switch, today announced its sponsorship of Fish Aid Music Festival, a concert to benefit the Gulf Coast’s devastated fisheries and wetlands. In support of the benefit, Autotether plans to donate five percent of online sales to customers using the discount code “AID-5.” Additionally, customers purchasing Autotether products online and using same code will receive a five percent discount on purchases made between January 1 and March 31, 2011. “The Gulf Coast is still suffering from the devastation brought on by last year’s unprecedented environmental disaster,” said Lenny Mazzotti, National Sales Manager, Autotether. “It’s incumbent upon the boating and fishing industries to do everything in our collective power to support the recovery and rehabilitation of the region, and we’re thrilled to be part of the Fish Aid Music Festival.” Fish Aid Music Festival Scheduled for Saturday, March 12, 2011, Fish Aid Music Festival is a benefit music concert to support the recovery and restoration of the Louisiana coast, Saint Bernard Parish, La., and beyond. Still reeling from the effects of Hurricane Katrina, the Gulf Coast continues to suffer in the aftermath of the Deep Water Horizon oil spill, the effects of which have devastated regional fisheries and wetlands. Fish Aid Music Festival will raise funds through corporate sponsorships, ticket sales, and vending, as well as through public and private donations. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the recovery and restoration efforts currently underway along the Gulf Coast. A headline act for the concert will be named shortly, as will additional entertainers. Fish Aid Music Festival enjoys the endorsement of Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, as well as St. Bernard Parish President Craig P. Taffaro, Jr., who will provide resources, infrastructure, and budgetary support to the event. Autotether: Freedom to Fish Falling overboard is the leading cause of death among boaters and anglers alike, and the technology designed to keep boaters safe in these instances has not been updated for over sixty years: until now. Autotether’s Wireless Lanyard and “Screamer” Wireless Alarm Systems set a new standard for on-water safety through the innovative use of radio frequency (RF) technology, which allows the company’s products to offer wireless kill switch activation and man overboard (MOB) indication. Autotether’s Wireless Lanyard System clips directly to a boat’s ignition kill switch, and uses RF technology to immediately shut off power to the engine if an operator is thrown overboard. The system’s receiver is also capable of tracking up to four passengers (including kids and pets) via small wireless sensors. Installation is simple and requires no wiring or drilling, and power is supplied by a small bank of AAA batteries. # # # Editor’s Note: Information regarding Autotether products is available at www.autotether.com. 2. Anthony and Lenny are heading out for the Lauderdale Show! They will be selling Autotether in the Crook & Crook Booth @ Bahia Mar. Go by and see them Wiley!
  3. How would my receiver know his fob(s) from mine? Are you talking about having him come on your boat and use his FOB from his system with your receiver or vice versa? Call our engineers in the office to talk that out 888-593-4181. Ask for Ed or Joe. But if you are concerned about interference between your receiver and his then, don't worry. The receiver and FOBs will be programmed to different channels and FOBs will only talk to the reveiver which is on the same channel. If I want to purchase another fob for my wife, does the new fob work right out of the box? If we get the serial number of the unit, we will program the FOB and it will be good to go when you receive it. Hope this helps, if you have more questions reply again! Best, Andrea Autotether, Inc.
  4. Gotcha. Thanks for the advice. I'll mention it to our engineers. Also to everyone - we are happy to announce that Sea Insure is now offering a 5% discount on your boat insurance if you have an Autotether on your boat! We are still working on others! Best, Andrea
  5. Yes, the system is behaving normally. The LEDs at the bottom of the Host that indicate which FOB or FOBs are communicating with the Host go off after 3 minutes to conserve battery life. The FOB LED flashes every 3 seconds when in communication with the Host. Thank you for the compliments in the design, we worked hard on that. Where would you suggest we locate the ring for the FOB? Is it for another attachment for our caribineer? (it was actually through reel boating customer suggestions that we added that yellow 0 clip). We value input from our customers and take it into consideration for upgrades on our product. Feel free to call us anytime at 888-59-4181 and we are available to help out any questions or reply here in this chat room. Thank you, Andrea Autotether

AUTOTETHER is a wireless lanyard that shuts off a boat’s engine in the event that the operator falls into the water. Additionally, AUTOTETHER sets off an alarm if passengers or pets wearing the AUTOTETHER sensors fall into the water. AUTOTETHER has taken 40 year old technology and put it into the 21st Century! Unlike traditional lanyards that require the operator to be tethered to the boat, the AUTOTETHER boating safety device is an unobtrusive wireless unit. It operates use cutting edge RF technology; the boater wears a small, wireless personal sensor that sends radio waves to a receiver connected to the boat’s ignition. When the sensor is submerged in water, the signal between the transmitter and the receiver is instantly broken because radio waves do not travel through water, and AUTOTETHER activates the ignition kill switch. AUTOTETHER is easy to install. It clips right to the boat’s ignition switch. The clip is connected via a short, coiled wire to a receiver that is mounted on the boat’s dashboard, next to the ignition switch, using “peel and stick” adhesive strips. No wiring or tools are required. The system is self-powered via inexpensive AAA batteries, which are supplied with the kit. An indicator light on the transmitter changes color when it is time to change the batteries. (Battery life is dependent upon individual boater system usage but typically 100-150 hours of on time.) AUTOTETHER is patented and trademarked. It is available online at www.autotether.com or by calling 1-888-593-4181. Charlie Moore’s website is www.charliemoore.com.
