  1. Here is their website. It looks pretty legit but the emails stopped the day after the money was sent. Glad it wasn't my money but I hope to save others from my buddy's pain. http://online-yard-sales.web.officelive.com/ws/default.aspx
  2. I had a Friend down south (who is as gullible as an old lady) wire thousands to england to pay for a boat he found on Craigs List. Same old scam of offering boats for sale at prices that are like half price on ebay and craigslist. The email correspondence and company website are very good making it a tricky one. I'm not saying I would wire money out of the country but My buddy did and is out THOUSANDS so I thought I'd spread the word. www.online-yard-sales.com Check out the email thread below. It seems pretty real! Open the link and tell me what you think... No leaks. NO issues. The motor has been serviced regularly. I can assure you will not be disappointed. The title is in the Online Yard Sales Stores possession as well and it is already signed by me and notarized so they will be responsible for the title transfer. Oh...and the title is clear. We have thoroughly enjoyed it and will greatly miss it. . Like i said before i'll explain the Online Yard Sales Stores concept, their website is ( www.Online-Yard-Sales.com ). They are a chain of ebay drop off stores and they offer their services for craigslist users too. I left the boat in their possession when i left and intended to sell it when i got back (if you ask why i'm selling it now when i'm not around), but the wedding costs too much and i need to sell it now to help my daughter get married. They will handle the shipping and the payment. If you want to purchase this, you must register on their website, they send you an invoice with the transaction details and payment instructions and you send the payment to them. They receive the payment and start the shipping process. You receive the boat and you have 10 days to inspect it and see if it's exactly as described. If you decide to keep it, you let them know and they will transfer the payment to me, if you decide to return it, they will give you a full refund back and return the item on my cost. So you can be sure the boat is exactly as described because i wouldn't sell something that i know it will be returned and loose extra money. The shipping cost is already included in the price listed on craigslist so you don't have to worry about that. The process is very simple, it probably looks a little complicated from what i explained but it's not and for a better understanding of how their service works you can check out their "Selling on eBay and Craigslist" and "How It Work" pages. I would advise you to read these pages before you register so you can be sure you understand how the process works. Let me know if you are still interested and if you have questions please ask, no problem. I'm a very likely buyer for the boat pending an inspection. It can be very easy, I'm a cash buyer and know what I want. How much time on the motor, any issues? Does the boat need anything or is it turnkey? Congratulations on gaining a son! I will not require the money up front because you haven’t seen/inspect the boat yet. I guess you used Online Yard Sales before, if you didn`t let me know because i met people that never used it and i will explain how it works in detail. Also let me know if you have other questions. 5. This is a very cool one owner boat. It is rigged nicely with a high quality fiberglass T-Top. It has a GPS, Radar and two Fish Finders including a Furuno FCV 585 (nice unit). It has an upgraded leaning post with integrated livewell that was a factory option. It pushes surprisingly well with it's single 250 Evenrude (27knots at 4300 RPMs). The engine runs perfect. The previous owner said it never gave him a hint of a problem. I had an Evenrude dealer plug into the computer and print out a snapshot summary. It's as good as anyone could ask for. It's never overheated, 87% of it's hours are below 4000RPMs and it's only had one minor code and that was at 65 hours. It now has 520 hours and runs perfectly. I ran it yesterday. Everything on the boat works and is in good shape. Bid with confidence. I am a dealer and own the boat. I'm liquidating it at a great price. 6. I definitely see your point. For the record, I sent LRSE a 16 year old raft about 2 years ago and they condemned it. It's tough news to get especially when they still bill you about half the inspection fee plus disposal. I guess it's a good thing I sent it in though. I suppose anything is passable but I've found LRSE to be thorough in the past. It was probably just time. After having the raft condemned at a cost of $350ish I've decided to trade them in every ten years. They only last so long. Good Luck Jay
  7. This is a DBC 6 Person Valise Raft that was just repacked in April by LRSE in Rhode Island. It lists on there site for almost $5000. I want a smaller raft. $2900 Call Jay 508-725-4778
