My so is 14 and he can drive a 12 foot boat with an outboard engine after he takes the course. I'm looking for a boat that is 12', not aluminum and has a steering wheel. So far I have found a Boston whaler that is 11' and has everything else I wanted. I'd prefer if it was not really expensive since I will probably buy a bigger boat when he is 16, but I'm am interested in anything. Let me know if you guys know of any.
