  1. I took it to my boat builder (Bluewater). Voltages and connections checked good. They replaced the remote control unit, went through the set-up procedure, and it worked perfectly (thanks Pete!). The remote control unit is the device that is mounted to the console with the throttle/shift levers and tilt switches. Lucky for me that Bluewater had one available...
  2. Suzuki 300 Check Engine Code 7-5: Check Control Unit Comm Anybody here know how to correct it other than taking it to the dealer? Thanks!
  3. I have the same problem with my Suzuki SMIS gauges. Does anyone have a solution?
  4. If you don't enjoy the topic then no one forces you read it...
  5. See my Bluewater 2850 at the Miami International Boat Show in the Bluewater Sportfishing Boats display area. High Voltage Bluewater 2850
  6. Furuno NN3D, 12" MFD x 2, Diff 1 FF, Open Array, with Garmin autopilot is way cool! High Voltage 2850 Bluewater
  7. Thanks AC. I believe that I have decided to go with Furuno 3D.
  8. I'm about to equip a new Bluewater 2850 with electronics. I was leaning toward Raymarine C120W x 2 with 12kW SHD radar, 1000W FF, and Garmin Autopilot. I am having second thoughts about Raymarine given their recent financial problems and the small number of these systems in use. My understanding is that the Furuno cartography stinks, but that the chart plotter is OK and that fish finder and UHD radar work great. Can anyone here with real life Nav Net 3D and/or Raymarine C Wide Series comment about the comparible Nav Net 3D connected with Garmin AP or the Raymarine regarding performance? How do the bells and whistles like radar overlay on the chart and the other gee-wiz stuff work? Thanks!
  9. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Is anyone here using the Raymarine C Series Widescreen yet? If so, I would appreciate your comments, pro & con. Thanks.
  10. I just bought a Taylor made from http://www.boatersland.com/boatcovers.html . Best price, by far, that I could find. Different boat, though...
