  1. Hey Joe! Yours and mine are very similar in hull design but for a couple of feet difference. Is yours a gas or oil burner? I will send you a PM in a couple of weeks, maybe we can do some offshore Sea Bassing south of here.
  2. A long time coming, but she's finally mine! '31 Shamrock Grand Slam with twin 6BTA Cummins Diesels
  3. What if you have just purchased a used 32' Sportfisherman and was planning on moving it over the open ocean 300 miles to it's new homeport and the previous owner removed all of the gear. What safey related equipment would you be sure was on board before starting your journey? .
  4. We may not know about tea, but some of us LIer's DO know "Jack" (Daniels that is!)
  5. Want a quality product???? Go with Jasper and don't even consider anybody else! ps: before you install any engine in that boat, remove a couple of plugs from both sides of the block and install drain valves. You already found out why they are needed.
  6. Don't mess with the USA anywhere! Very glad to see Obama step up to the plate and call in the "Black Ops" guys. Them SEALS are very special people not to be messed with anywhere in the world.
  7. Hey Halffull and fellow Lawg Guylander! Don't forget a second VHF Radio (Handheld is good) and a EBiRB. It will help us find you out in The Hudson Canyon if you get it trouble. BTW, what boat are you riding in????
  8. Hey Jason: Nice Job, Thanks for your efforts. As for them lazy bums that want your hard earned GPS #'s, tell them to go find their own!!!!
  9. Real nice boat! Thanks for the pix! Bad situation for all those "Little People" that got caught up in it. We need some better white collar crime deterents here in the USA!
  10. Neeeeew Jersay? ya mean dat fish drug me all the way to Neeeew Jersay?
  11. Now there's a guy with a great boat and some smarts !!! Welcome Aboard "Chubs" !
  12. Rival and Welder: In my professional opinion, I agree. 1 Alternator per Battery Bank isolated from the other bank / Alt. is the only way this set up will work If the purpose is to charge the House batteries separate from the starting battery and each alternator has an internal regulator it can only work if they are completly separated and isolated because as was said, 2 alts. each with it's own requlator will sense the other's voltage output and go "open" and not charge at all. Why do "Blow Boat" owners think this stuff up? Is it all that fresh air blowing thru their heads?
