Can anyone tell me pros and cons on 1985 Hydra Sports 1850 cc

Recommended Posts

I am looking at a 1995 Hydra Sports 1850 center console. It has 95 Johnson 130 but I have a 2006 Yamaha 150 fourstroke I want to mount on it. I don't know anything about hydra sports and would appreciate any information. I will be using the boat to go to nearshore reefs in SC. aprox 10-15 miles out. Thanks in advance for all info

WOW no wonder people don't hang around 471_confused_face.gif

I'm not sure there was enough traffic to create a pool with possible experience with that boat. It has nothing to do with the OP or his question. If someone could have helped, I'm sure they would have. Outdoors50 is about as close as you are going to get from the general knowledge group.

I think with the new influx of people less of these type questions will go unresponded to.

I can't believe that nobody even said something along the lines of , yes you will be fine if you pick your day's and weather permitting. Also have all necessary safety equipment on board

A two second Google search reveals much information about this boat. Also many pictures available I was going to post one but Wiley has that feature blocked 471_confused_face.gif

The 18' Hydrasport was a capable boat. They were reasonably well built, but like others have said, pick your days. I think that motor might be a little on the heavy side, but shouldnt be a problem. I would have a moisture test done on the transom and plan in the near future a replacement transom. On this boat and size, you could do it yourself if youre handy.
