Tideline catamarans

Recommended Posts

Had an opportunity to check this smaller catamaran at the Miami show. Beautiful NC design, with a very well proportioned flair and old school look I prefer. This boat was well rigged, and had stellar build quality. There was 2 large dry storage lockers up front, with a nice casting deck..and optional trolling motor...that really interested me. The forward console seat was also a cooler, and there was more than enough rod and cup holders through out the boat. Something that I thought worked out well was the two rear flip up seats, that doubled as another fishing platform when down. Between the two seats was also a livewell with a blue interior and plexi lid. The console was well laid out, and access to the batteries. I was rushed for time, otherwise I would have went for a ride. Im looking for a 20-22' cat and this definatly looked as a great option. It fills a much needed niche. I'm looking forward to a ride.

Do they have a smaller version? I'm looking in the 17-18' range. What is the pricing on the 22'.

Thanx Jassman I will Have to check it out, Always liked cats.

Thanks Stebo. I never understood the concept until one day I went out on a friends 36 NorTech cat with twin 1200's...I was hooked since then...As to a fishing cc cat, I can see many of the same stable characteristics, along with better fuel effeciency, and most importantly, a softer ride. I also like the ability of being able to be in shallow water for the type of marsh fishing in our area, as well as go out to the bay and perhaps out front to the islands with a stable platform. I have yet gone for a ride on this particular boat, but will do so in the near future. Jeff
