Best boat songs ever?!

Recommended Posts

I am compiling a playlist of good songs for our boat. I need some suggestions of what should go on my ipod.

So you have an idea of what type of music we listen to:

...

A couple songs by Corey Smith

...

What are some killer boat songs that need to be added to the cd?

Nice, I thought I was the only one who listened to him. He's got some good jams.

And I second "all summer long" everytime I hear it I wish I was on the boat having a beer.

Another great buffet song is "still in paradise" off of his live in anguilla album, which is a great 2 CD set in itself.

As soon as I clear the last no wake zone this song goes on.

Can't get the YouTube to work. Here is the link:

Pulling away from the dock, or out of the slip, I like AC/DC "For Those About To Rock" turned up to just under the point of distortion. Kinda gets the crew going, and lets the neighbs know I mean business...

He's got some good stuff and girls seem to love his songs.

Kid Rock "All Summer Long" is probably the best boating song ever. The whole song and video is about boating and partying on a sand bar with hot chicks.

I'm not sure how I forgot about that one. It is actually one of my favorites because it plays so well on my system. It is crystal clear at high volumes and everybody thinks I have subs when I play it because the bass is so good on the song.

I have Hell's Bells on my boat cd, but I am definitely going to add that one into the mix.

Southern Cross CSN

Longer Boats Cat Stevens

If I Had A Boat L. Lovett

Dock of The Bay Otis

First Time My Woman Left Me This Month David Bromberg

I love Cat Stevens, or I guess Yusuf Islam?. These'll definitely be added.

I already have every Buffett song on my mix and I already had "I'm on a Boat" on the mix. "I'm on a Boat" is going to be the most overplayed song by everyone at the sandbar this summer so I am almost regretting adding it.
