As you can see by the responses, there is a wide range of taste in music on boats. So if you want to be "kind to the sandbar" as mentioned above, try and be considerate of others and keep your volume to respectable levels. This seems to be a real problem with the wakeboard boats at the lake. You can hear whatever crap they are listening to go "thump, thump, thump" across the cove. I doubt it sounds like much even sitting in the boat. And why does the wakeboarder have to listen in while they are boarding? Give it a break.

And no matter how loud I turn my Buffett up, I can't seem to get that "thump, thump, thump" going.

Thanks for letting me vent.
